Starting tomorrow, June 18, 2026, Strato3D will accept payments in USDC — the US dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Circle.

This isn't a marketing gimmick. It's a practical choice, designed for our most tech-savvy customers and for companies that already manage part of their treasury in digital assets.

Why USDC and not other cryptocurrencies?

We chose USDC for a simple reason: it has no volatility. 1 USDC = 1 USD, always. There's no risk that your €1,200 purchase will become €900 the next day due to a market crash. For those selling professional machinery — and for those buying it — price stability matters.

Other cryptocurrencies may arrive in the future. For now, we're starting here, with a solid tool.

How does it work in practice?

No extra steps, no email to send beforehand. USDC is directly available as a payment method at checkout, along with credit card and bank transfer. Choose the product, add to cart, select USDC at checkout — done.

Who is already ahead on this?

As far as we know, we are the first specialized 3D printer retailer in Italy to accept cryptocurrency payments directly at checkout. It's not a record we were chasing — it happened because our customers asked for it, and we decided to listen to them.

If you have any questions, contact us. We are in Milan and Perugia, and we respond within one business day.
