3D Printing Automotive - Prototypes and Spare Parts
We help automotive companies, specialized workshops, restomod shops, and racing teams produce components quickly, even in small batches. From a prototype air duct to a discontinued part for a historic car, third-party 3D printing allows you to avoid expensive tooling and drastically reduce lead times.
What we produce for the automotive industry
- Functional prototypes of interior and exterior components
- Discontinued spare parts, reproduced from 3D scan or drawing
- Jigs and fixtures for assembly lines
- Components for racing, restomod, and tuning vehicles
- Covers, supports, ducts, housings for ECUs and electronics
- Foundry patterns (resin or wax masters for investment casting)
Typical technologies and materials
For automotive applications, we use industrial FDM with heat-resistant and mechanically performing materials such as ABS, ASA, PETG-CF, Carbon Fiber reinforced Nylon (PA-CF), and PA12. For fine details or smooth surfaces, we switch to SLA with tough or ABS-like resins. For functional small-batch productions, we use SLS with PA12.
