Exceptional Flexibility and DurabilityRebound 55A stands out for its ability to quickly return to its original shape after deformation, making it perfect for parts subjected to dynamic stress. Its resilience ensures longevity in applications where repeated flexing is common. Broad Compatibility and Ease of UseThis resin is formulated to work seamlessly with a wide range of 405nm LCD and DLP 3D printers. Its one-component nature eliminates the need for complex mixing, simplifying the printing process and ensuring consistent results. Siraya Tech's Rebound 55A is a high-performance 3D printing resin designed for applications requiring exceptional flexibility and rapid shape recovery. With a Shore hardness of 55A, it offers a softer touch than other flexible resins, making it ideal for producing parts that need to withstand repeated stress without permanent deformation. Key Features 55A Shore hardness for superior flexibility Fast rebound capability for quick shape recovery Compatible with most 405nm LCD and DLP 3D printers Professional black finish suitable for functional prototypes Ideal for shock-absorbing components and flexible consumer products Single-component resin requiring no mixing Features Manufacturer: Siraya Tech Model: ST0050 EAN: 0768924647571 Weight: 1200 g Buy Siraya Tech -Rebound 55A Black - 1KG Resin on STRATO3D with fast shipping in Italy.

Flexible resins are formulations in which the final polymer, after post-curing, maintains elasticity and the ability to deform elastically under load. They are the "resin" equivalent of TPU for FDM: they allow printing gaskets, covers, and soft parts with the detail of LCD printing.

When to use a flexible resin

  • Gaskets and O-rings: small seals with precise geometry.
  • High-definition covers: protective for devices with precise details.
  • Orthodontics and dental: aligners, retainers (with ISO 10993 certified resins).
  • Footwear and insoles: personalized parts with anatomical detail.
  • Articulated modeling: elastic parts for joints and mechanisms.
  • Hybrid prints: combined with rigid resins for multi-hardness parts.

Technical characteristics

  • Wavelength: 405 nm.
  • Shore A hardness: 40-90 (variable depending on the formulation).
  • Elongation at break: 100-400%.
  • Tensile strength: 5-15 MPa.
  • Exposure time: generally higher than rigid resins.
  • Post-cure: 5-10 minutes for mechanical stability.

Frequently asked questions

Flexible or FDM TPU? For small parts with fine detail: flexible. For large parts and wear: TPU.

How much does it stretch? Soft formulations reach 300-400% elongation. Rigid-flexible ones are at 50-100%.

Can they be dyed? Yes, but most already come pre-colored. For customization, use UV-stable pigments.

Is it frost resistant? Yes, it maintains flexibility even at -20 °C. For lower temperatures, check the technical data sheet.
