The complete Bambu Lab catalogue on Strato3D: printers, technical filaments and original spare parts. We have rebuilt the site so you find the right part straight away.
Until a few months ago, if you called us for a replacement nozzle for your P1S or for a spool of PA-CF, the answer risked being “we'll order that for you, it takes a few days”. It worked, but we did not like it. Anyone with a printer standing idle in the workshop does not want to hear “a few days”: they want the part, and they want it now.
That is why over the past few months we have worked on two fronts at once. On one side we have completed the Bambu Lab catalogue — and when we say complete, we really mean complete: the printers, the filament range, the accessories and above all the original spare parts. On the other we have rebuilt the structure of the site, because having everything in stock is of little use if you then have to scroll through three hundred pages to find the right component. In plain words: now everything is there, and it is finally easy to find.
One thing we often notice is that nobody searches for “a filament”. They search for that filament: the PETG for the part that stays outdoors, the carbon for the bracket that has to hold, the wood-effect PLA for the model to show the client. The old site forced you to already know what you wanted. The new one starts from the application.
We have grouped the materials by type and by real use, so you get to the point in two clicks. If you want the complete picture of the brand, there is the Bambu Lab collection that gathers everything — almost a thousand items across machines, materials and components. If instead you already have in mind what you are looking for, go straight to the Bambu Lab filaments or the original Bambu Lab spare parts. Three different entrances for three different ways of buying, with no beating about the bush.
On “aesthetic” filaments — the coloured PLAs, the silks, the metal effects — there is little to argue about: they look good, they print easily, they are perfect for models and prototypes to show. Our wood-effect PLA and metal-effect PLA are among those that most often end up in the baskets of people working in design and visual merchandising.
But the reason we care about the complete range is another, and it is the technical part. When a company brings us a part that has to work — bear a load, stay outside, get close to a heat source — PLA is no longer enough, and this is where Bambu Lab's engineering materials make the real difference.
Carbon-fibre composites, to name one, completely change the game on stiffness and dimensional stability. PPA-CF — a carbon-filled polyamide — withstands temperatures and stresses that PLA would not even dream of, with that matte finish that hides the layers almost entirely. You will find it alongside the other composites in the carbon-fibre filament collection. An honest caveat, though, because it is right to say it: carbon fibre is abrasive. If you print carbon with a standard brass nozzle, after a few hours you will find it ruined. You need a hardened or steel nozzle — and indeed it is one of the spare parts we now always keep on the shelf. Better to know it beforehand than to discover it halfway through a job.
For those working outdoors or with UV exposure, the reasoning shifts to ASA and PETG, with ASA standing up better to the sun without yellowing. And when the specification really goes up — chemical resistance, high temperatures, industrial environment — there is PPS-CF, a carbon-filled semi-crystalline engineering polymer. It costs more, we are in another category compared with a spool of PLA, and it is not for everyone: but when the specifications demand it, there are not many real alternatives. If you do not know where to start, this is exactly the kind of choice it makes sense to check with us before ordering: a couple of words with us saves you a wrong spool and half a day lost.
For us this is the news we are proudest of, even if it is the least “Instagrammable”. Having almost nine hundred Bambu Lab spare part items in stock means that, when something wears out or breaks, you are not setting off on an odyssey.
The filament sensor playing up, the dual extruder idlers, the buffer or the cutter stopper for the new P2S: they are small parts, but if they are missing they keep your machine idle. A filament sensor for the P2S extruder costs less than twenty euros; the problem is never the price, it is the waiting time. We have now cut that time.
And here we come to the less obvious advantage of having machines, materials and spare parts under the same roof: when you write to us, on the other side there is someone who knows that printer. We do not sell you a random product code — we help you work out whether that component really is the culprit, before you spend.
If you already have a Bambu Lab, the advice is simple: bookmark the original spare parts page, so at the next maintenance you already know where to look. If instead you are still choosing the machine — perhaps starting from a P1S or looking at the new P2S — it is worth thinking right away about the materials you will need too, because that is where you see whether the printer does what you expect.
At both our sites, Milan and Perugia, you will find the machines switched on and the materials to handle in person. And if you prefer to start from a question rather than from a basket, write to us from the contacts page: tell us what you need to print, we will take care of the rest.
