3D Printing for Orthopedics, Prosthetics, and Custom Aids

Orthoses, braces, and assistive devices truly work when they follow a person's anatomy. Third-party 3D printing allows orthopedic technicians, laboratories, and designers to create personalized devices starting from 3D scans, with lead times and costs suitable for individual pieces.

What we produce for the sector

  • Custom orthoses and braces based on limb scans
  • Components and shells for prostheses and assistive devices
  • Orthotics, templates, and anatomical models for design
  • Daily living aids and custom ergonomic supports
  • Prototypes of medical devices prior to validation

Materials and technologies

For wearable devices, we primarily use SLS in PA12, which is lightweight, durable, and suitable for organic shapes, and filaments like Nylon and TPU for flexible parts. For anatomical models and prototypes, we use high-detail SLA. We also have materials with manufacturer-declared biocompatibility characteristics, to be evaluated for each application.
