The Bambu Lab A1 is a high-performance 3D printer designed to combine precision, speed, and multicolor functionality in a desktop format. Ideal for educational environments, design studios, and professional laboratories, the A1 integrates comprehensive automatic calibration functions and an optional AMS Lite system for managing up to four filaments.
Thanks to its automatic calibration system, the A1 autonomously handles bed leveling, Z-offset value, vibration compensation for X and Y axes, extrusion pressure, and belt tension. This allows for quick setup and high reliability from the very first prints.
The reinforced steel and extruded aluminum frame ensures stability during high-speed printing, while the linear guide motion system ensures high mechanical repeatability. The extruder carriage is entirely made of metal, designed to withstand long work cycles without loss of precision.
With a maximum speed of 500 mm/s and acceleration up to 10,000 mm/s², the A1 can create complex prototypes and models in less time. The direct drive extruder, combined with an all-metal hotend up to 300 °C, supports materials like PLA, PETG, TPU, and PVA. The heated bed reaches 100 °C, with magnetic and interchangeable PEI surfaces.
Print quality management is further optimized by an active flow compensation system, which measures the internal pressure of the hotend in real-time to automatically correct extrusion variations.
