The Neptune 4 comes with pre-installed Klipper firmware, paired with a 1.5GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM processor for faster command processing. This allows the printer to achieve speeds of up to 500 mm/s, making it one of the fastest in its class. Additionally, the 8G ROM provides ample storage for quick data access, enhancing overall printing efficiency. Advanced features like input shaping reduce mechanical vibrations, eliminating common artifacts such as aneisms, ghosting, or ringing, while the pressure advance feature ensures consistent material flow for smoother prints.
Powerful Extrusion & Improved Hotend
The Neptune 4 features a dual-gear direct drive extruder, with a 5.2:1 reduction ratio for smooth and consistent filament extrusion. This setup ensures reliable material discharge while reducing the extruder's weight to 75% of the Neptune 3 Pro. The copper-titanium bi-metal throat pipe improves heat dissipation, preventing nozzle clogging. With a nozzle capable of reaching temperatures up to 300 °C, the Neptune 4 is compatible with high-temperature filaments like nylon, ABS, and ASA (a 3D printer enclosure is recommended for use with ABS/ASA).
Unmatched Heat Dissipation Performance
The Neptune 4 is designed for advanced cooling. It features two thickened 4015 ball bearing cooling fans on the sides of the print head, along with four 4020 ball bearing auxiliary fans on the rear. This multi-directional cooling system ensures rapid cooling of newly printed layers, allowing for better overhangs and bridging results, even during high-speed printing.
Stable & Quiet Printing
The Neptune 4 ensures stable, accurate, and quiet printing thanks to its silent drivers on all axes, reducing noise to below 50dB. Wear-resistant POM V-guide wheels ensure smooth and precise movement, contributing to a quieter operation. The double lead screw and dual-motor design on the Z-axis provide enhanced synchronization, guaranteeing better accuracy and stability during prints.
