Drywise – 2.85mm Inline Filament Dryer

As an inline system, the Drywise dries only the part of the filament used for printing, during the 3D printing process, rather than drying the entire spool. Traditional methods can take up to 48 hours to dry wet filament and can damage the spool. The process is pre-calibrated for each material type.

Why is drying important?

Hygroscopic FDM filaments absorb moisture from the environment in just a few days. The presence of moisture causes visible artifacts during printing: poor surface quality, stringing and oozing, as well as potential print failures and reduced mechanical properties.
