Bambu Lab A1 COMBO – High-performance, versatile multicolour 3D printer
The Bambu Lab A1 is a high-performance 3D printer designed to combine precision, speed and multicolour capability in a desktop format. Ideal for educational environments, design studios and professional laboratories, the A1 features full automatic calibration functions and an optional AMS Lite system for handling up to four filaments.
Thanks to its automatic calibration system, the A1 independently manages bed levelling, the Z-offset value, vibration compensation on the X and Y axes, extrusion pressure and belt tension. This allows for fast setup and high reliability right from the first prints.
The reinforced structure in steel and extruded aluminium guarantees stability during high-speed printing, while the linear-rail motion system ensures high mechanical repeatability. The extruder carriage is made entirely of metal, designed to withstand long working cycles without any loss of precision.
With a maximum speed of 500 mm/s and acceleration up to 10,000 mm/s², the A1 can produce complex prototypes and models in a short time. The direct drive extruder, paired with an all-metal hotend rated to 300 °C, supports materials such as PLA, PETG, TPU and PVA. The heated bed reaches 100 °C, with magnetic, interchangeable PEI surfaces.
Print quality management is further optimised by an active flow compensation system, which measures the internal pressure of the hotend in real time to automatically correct extrusion variations.
