3D Printing for Lighting and Lighting Design - Prototypes and Light Fixtures

Lamps, diffusers, and lighting fixtures originate from shapes that are difficult to evaluate on screen. Third-party 3D printing allows designers and lighting manufacturers to touch the prototype, test light diffusion, and showcase the project to the client before committing to a mold.

What we produce for lighting

  • Aesthetic prototypes of lamps, lampshades, and diffusers
  • Housings and casings for LED fixtures, including small series
  • Translucent diffusers and screens that modulate light
  • Supports, brackets, and technical components for assembly
  • Presentation models for trade shows and showrooms

Materials and technologies

For lighting effects, we use translucent SLA resins and filaments that diffuse light softly; for technical bodies, we choose PETG and ASA, which are resistant to the heat of the fixtures. The finishes (sanding, painting, smoothing) result in surfaces ready to be showcased.

At the heart of design between Brianza and Milan

The Brianza-Milan axis is a global reference for furniture and design lighting. We support studios and companies that present at the Salone and in Milanese showrooms, with prototypes ready in a few days. See also our service for furniture and furnishings and for industrial design.
