Per ottenere il massimo effetto conviene stampare pareti spesse (almeno 3-4 perimetri) e privilegiare colori chiari del pigmento. Questi filamenti sono abrasivi a causa delle particelle minerali sospese, quindi e' consigliabile un ugello in acciaio temprato. Le temperature tipiche vanno dai 200 ai 220 C per il PLA glow e dai 230 ai 250 C per il PETG glow, con piatto a 50-60 C.
